FINANCIAL PERSONALITY TRAINING EVENT

DISCOVER YOUR MONEY MANAGEMENT PERSONALITY

  • Have you been to Financial Peace trainings, but can’t seem to execute on it?

  • Do you shut down when budgets have to be reviewed or talked about?

  • Do you fight with your spouse, or your church board, around money issues?

  • Have you ever wanted to have better insights to your team’s money management personalities, and why they are attached to money the way they are?

We believe driven leaders ought to know what they are driven by! Believe it or not, the two biggest nerves that are most personality reactive and revealing is money and sex. Perhaps this is why God has addressed these both at the “heart” level.

Let us train you to know what is driving you, your spouse, your kids and your church staff around financial issues? In our Financial Personality Training Event each student will be given a dynamic assessment instrument that is grounded in theories of psychology, behavioral economics, neuroscience, neuromarketing, attachment and addiction.

WHY YOU RELATE TO MONEY THE WAY YOU DO

Why does your brain relate to money the way it does?

You will learn why you might be vulnerable to …

  • Workaholism

  • Prosperity Guilt

  • Hoarding

  • Compulsive Buying

  • Gambling

  • Greed

  • Inordinate Generosity

  • Monetized Rage

  • Financial Avoidance

  • Financial Denial

  • Financial Risk Aversion

  • Financial Infidelity

  • Financial Enabling

  • Financial Enmeshment

  • Financial Exploitation

Money holds power for people. People use money in nuanced ways to:

  • Express safety

  • Deal with dissatisfaction

  • Cope with shame and betrayal

  • Engage in retaliation

  • Gain one-up-man-ship (upper handedness)

The ideas of what it means to possess money, to lose it and to manipulate others with it, is often practiced from a subconscious system. This is an area of treatment called “FINANCIAL DISORDERS.”

FINANCIAL DISORDERS are the result of distorted emotional beliefs about money that we develop from traumatic flashpoint experiences. Flashpoints are painful, distressing, and/or dramatic life events that embed in our emotional brains. In a desire to self-preserve and protect ourselves from similar painful events, our brains assume a relationship with money, and the illusion of power that money can give us in hopes of ensuring our survival. These traumatic flashpoints become associated with money and are so emotionally powerful that they run our operational software behind the scenes of our behaviors throughout our lives.

These traumatic flashpoints become the foundation of our financial struggles throughout our lives.

For some of us, these inordinate financial energy pockets were inked into our hearts from specific financial experiences:

  • Childhood poverty or unfulfilled wants

  • Parental messages based in their own fears

  • Witnessing a parent’s career layoff and ensuing struggles

  • Lost nest eggs to economic downturns

  • Experiencing the exploitation of a person of power and feelings of powerlessness

TRAUMA RESPONSES CAN BE UNRELATED TO FINANCES

For others the financial energy pockets grew from traumas beyond financial dealings, but the association of power and control that money promises gave the hope for a better life. Like a son being verbally abused throughout his childhood making him identify emotionally as a loser. So, when he learns that money projects power and control. He associates making a lot of money with power and it’s various pleasures. He will prove to himself, his parents and all others that he is not a loser – but a winner by the way he manages money.
