CONVERSATION QUESTIONS
The below questions serve as a guide to conversation. Select those which you feel will spark conversation, depth and growth in understanding.
In these scriptures we covered tonight it talks about the curses of the law. Have you ever wondered about these scriptures before? Have you ever felt like you were under a curse?
Do you understand the concept that we have free will and that God has to allow what we allow?
Pastor made a statement: “ it’s not that you have pain or struggle, but if you allow that to be your continued reality that is the issue.” Do you find it hard to reach out for help when you experience pain/struggle? Why is that?
Deut. 28:47 says: because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully in the time of prosper….you shall serve your enemies etc. Pastor asked the question, is it okay not to serve the Lord joyfully; what do you think? Are we designed to “serve the Lord with gladness?” Why is this hard for us?
PRAYER
(Encourage others to pray, gaining confidence in public prayer in a safe environment)
EXAMPLE PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for this opportunity to grow together and learn about the energy source of love, the force that is your nature. May we consider this week how our bodies react to our activations of love. May we hear you in the soft whisper in our hearts, helping us to develop healthy connections, that we may become all you intend us to be, in faith and confidence. All for your kingdom, precious Jesus. We love you. Amen.
