PRAYER EXAMPLE: Heavenly Father, thank you for this time to come together as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to deepen our understanding the lifestyle of faith. Holy Spirit, speak to us and through us, that we may grow closer to you and deepen our relationships. Amen.

This semester in Group focuses on the topic of Faith: What Faith Is, taught by our friend, Keith Moore of Faith Life Church in Branson, Missouri and Sarasota, Florida.
CONVERSATION QUESTIONS
The below questions serve as a guide to conversation. Select those which you feel will spark conversation, depth and growth in understanding.
- Faith is being persuaded, if you don’t know if it is God’s will to pay your bills, you can’t have faith. Share an experience where you trusted God to meet a financial need.
- Do you find it difficult to have faith in your earthly parents (to be persuaded they will do the best for you)? Do your children find it difficult to have faith in you (to be persuaded you will do the best for them)? How do you think this affects your ability to have faith in God and be persuaded in His will for you?
- Faith begins where there the will of God is known, each of you share your process for finding scriptures to stand on in faith. How do you use the scriptures to “settle” yourself?
- Read James 1:5-8 again, what do you think about the requirements God puts on asking for something in “faith”?

EXAMPLE PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you again for your amazing Word taught to us tonight. We ask that you help us deepen our faith in you and your Word. Help us to become established in you so we are not doubting and wavering, but are persuaded in all you have for us. In Jesus Name, Amen.
