SESSIONS - GROUP LAYOUT OVERVIEW

A typical Group evening looks like this:

  • ARRIVAL - Arrival, Sharing Life, Munching Snacks.

  • GROUP ADMIN SHEETS - Pass any GROUP ADMIN SHEETS provided on specific weeks (Group Roster Sheet, Group Confidentiality Sheet, etc.) at the beginning of the Group, just prior to Video #1. You will need to print these off and send them around.

  • GROUP ICEBREAKER / GAME

  • GROUP VIDEO - Watch 10-20 minutes of a GROUP video teaching, that correlates with the full Workshop semester topics.

  • CONVERSATION GUIDE - The Conversation Guide is also on the Group Member's page to give an overview of what was discussed on the video. It serves as a reminder to help member's stay focused and give a context to answer questions.

  • DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  • PRAYER - Prayer time with the Group.

  • ENCOURAGEMENT CONNECTION THIS WEEK - In the Attendee Session Notes you will find a 3 step layout for helping your Group bond through weekly encouragements.

  • DISMISS

HOST ATTENDANCE REPORTING

POST GROUP - ATTENDANCE REPORTING - Each week quick access the Group Attendance Reporting within 3 days of your Group. It will be best to do it at the time of the Group ends. This is a very important step in making sure the LifeGroup Director and the pastors are kept informed and able to provide proper oversight of this ministry. Please include:  Attendance reporting, testimony reporting, and prayer requests.

INTEGRATE THE FOLLOWING AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION:

MEMOIR: TELLING MY STORY - This week the Hosts will begin by telling their My Memoir stories (see last weeks video and worksheet). IMPORTANT:  We would like to have 4 people share their stories, per night, for the next 3 nights. That only leaves time for 12 total stories. If you have more in your Group than 12, plan to add a 5th person's story per night, for the next 3 weeks. Also, help everyone stay in the 10-15 minute range for their stories, so everyone can participate with ease.
