Mistrust is not the opposite of TRUST,

it is the enemy of TRUST.     

 

MATTHEW 28:19-20 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations... And be sure of this: I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU, even to the end of the age.

HEBREWS 13:5 NLT I will never FAIL YOU, I will never ABANDON YOU.

HEBREWS 13:5-6 AMP He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

JOHN 1:14 NLT So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and FAITHFULNESS.

HEBREWS 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

JOHN 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that HE MAY REMAIN WITH YOU FOREVER. 

 

Jesus is THERE for you

 

I JOHN 4:9-10 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a SACRIFICE to take away our sins.

 

Christianity is not first the FIRST SACRIFICE we make,

but the SACRIFICE we trust. 

 

I JOHN 4:11-12 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, WE SURELY OUGHT TO LOVE EACH OTHER. 12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.

 

Because He SACRIFICED for us,

we can SACRIFICE for others

rather than SACRIFICING others for ourselves.

 

Trust springs from the CHOICE

to take care of the other person at our OWN EXPENSE.
