Hollywood's biggest blockbusters are coming to LifePointe Church! Bring your entire family for the full "cinema" experience! This Fall movie marathon will feature a different film every Sunday for 5-weeks. The sermons will take a look at each movie and offer valuable insight into the victorious principles of Christ. Today's movies have a way of dramatically transferring emotion generated through pain and recovery, opposition and victory, mystery and clarity, and grieving losses and peace. These emotions powerfully move from the big screen into our immediate moment. At the Movies is a chance for us to turn these emotional experiences into the relevant principles found in Scripture. 5-weeks of blockbuster hits. Popcorn and/or movie candy (munch during service like you are at the theater).

TODAY'S MOVIE - GIFTED

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy - his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) in a coastal town in Florida. Frank's plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven-year-old's mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank's formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary. Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary's landlady and best friend. Jenny Slate is Mary's teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

You can’t expect to raise children who LOVE GOD

if you are not pursuing love with God.

2 TIMOTHY 3:15 NKJV … FROM CHILDHOOD you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for SALVATION through FAITH which is in Christ Jesus.

DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7 NKJV And these words which I COMMAND you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY to your CHILDREN, and shall TALK OF THEM when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

PROVERBS 22:6 NKJV TRAIN up a child in the way he SHOULD GO, And when he is old he WILL NOT DEPART from it.
