We ask that your Holy Spirit would guide us as we learn truths and let go of false ideas. Help our hearts grasp freedom that you have given us in Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen.

- Share a time when you believed God was compassionate toward you. Describe what compassion felt like and meant to you.
- Have you ever felt God’s compassion for someone who was sick?
- Have you ever witnessed someone's abuse or abandonment and felt God’s heart of justice compelling you to help? Share an example.
- What does it mean to you that God feels that way towards abuse and injustices of sickness perpetrated upon you or those you love?
